Back about 20 years or so, when black powder cartridge rifle shooting was becoming popular, Lyman introduced this mould, It was a 510 grain, nose pour mould. It was the only Lyman nose pour mould that Lyman made, AFAIK. This mould can give perfect bases and back in the day, I put 10 shots into 4 & 3/8 inches at 200 yards. For my wonky eyes, that was a wonderment. Lyman only made a short run of this mould, because its design led to a lot of broken cherries.
