I bought the Gen6. Compared it to the 5 and the only thing the 5 had over the 6 was a trickle button and the ability to store a number of loads. No interest in storing loads and the trickle feature sure wasn't enough to justify the difference in cost.
Overall it's been fantastic. I've noticed the best way for it to drop the right charge is to set it for .1 grain higher than what you are looking for. As an example, if you wanted 25.0 grains, set it for 25.1. The type of powder you are running through it seems to affect its accuracy more than anything.
Every powder I've run through it it has handled well. The only expection would be a fine ball powder like H335, it tends to "bounce" alot and you wind up getting a bit of powder around the base of the scale. All other powder I've put through it is fine, all winds up in the pan.
Great scale, certainly would recommend.
It, along with the Lyman case prep center I bought, has improved the speed and accuracy of my reloads for sure.
