Lyman Mold Markings - U & X

I have a 311332FX marked Lyman mold that I haven't cast anything with yet. My old Lyman mold sheet shows that undersized molds were available wiith a "U" designator added. Does the " X" indicate an oversized mold????? Kayceel

B or C - Special List of Molds

Never seen an "X" so it could be just the mold refrence marking that Lyman uses like CV or CX.

Usually there is a 3 digit code marked on both halves of the mold to ensure that you know which half goes with which half if they were mixed up.

Thanks Hunter64. A friend picked up one of the #1's in .303 Brit and yes they do slug at .314. I was hoping this mold was going to throw a few more thou over .311 than usual. Kayceel
