Just wondering if any owners of the mentioned press have any positives/negatives on the Lyman turret press (it's on sale for $255 and I was thinking about getting one) Thanks in advance...

I have one and us it mainly for handgun cartridges & I have no complaints.

You will want to make sure the turret support at the rear of the press is adjusted properly to remove play.

I've been using mine for 3 years now with a spare turret, in .38 spl and .45 acp and I love it. I have a friend in town who bought his last month and is very happy with it.

I have currently on my bench a rockchucker, rcbs progressive, Lee classic turret and a Lyman t mag.

I bought the Lyman used and I'll have to admit that I really do like it. It's robust, and easy to use. I load rifle cartridges with it mostly.

I will say though I've rolled 10k plus rifle rounds on my leg classic cast turret and I can't decide of I like the Lyman better or not.

It looks like a good solid press for the money, but I would find the handle for advancing the turret somewhat awkward. Personally I'm not a fan of turret or progressive presses that don't automatically advance.

I do everything from rifle to handgun with mine. A good compromise between a single stage and a progressive. Built very though and affordable compared to a Redding turret or RCBS
