Soon I will have my Nork m-14, and it will need a nice telescoping stock.
I was wondering if the Sage model is the way to go ? The one from Marstar looks good also but is it worth the money ? I am looking for something with good quality.
Thanks guys.

Give CQB Services a call and see if he has the TROY stock. Its an option well worth looking into. $0.02.
Copied of the ERB website, it may help ya out?
I am always being asked why I made a change in my battle rifle configuration and switched form the SAGE to the TROY.

TROY over the SAGE, Here is why I switched...

*** ABSOLUTLEY OVER ALL IT INCREASED ACCURACY***
OVER BOTH TROY STOCKS I OWNED

1) FULL TOP RAIL (accepts BUIS) Back up Iron Sights the sage had a problem being to high with normal sights and no room for BUIS.

2) No additional - $300/$400 dollar smith or gdi scope mount required, and these always came loose and added weight.
(These are the biggest pain in the ass...

3) SAGE never extended back further with the rail system they have to accommodate what was needed.

4) You can use NVG because you have more than enough space.
SIDE RAILS - longer, Everything is integrated

5) All AR based aftermarket products are now interchangeable, stocks, mounts, lights, rings you name it. VLTOR, MAGPUL, etc...
That means interchangeable parts in the field if you need it for grips and stocks. It also allows you to update as better products come available.

6) Troy locks in all standard features of the original design and breaks down after assembly just like an M1A without tools.

7) Troy somewhat unitizes the front gas assembly against the stock, it is very tight...

8) Troy locks the rear receiver against the bottom rear of the stock, giving additional support.

9) Better balanced

10 Way more comfortable...

There are 10 reasons! Hope that sums it up for you!

Well CQB Services is in the dealer section, or you can PM Gadget?
For more info on the TROY/SAGE comparison, head over to EBRSOPMODS.com. I have a SAGE, and if I were doing it again I would definitely take a closer look at the TROY. However I have a "soft spot" for the SAGE after my tour overseas. You can do a search of the CGN site, Gadget may still have his pics posted?.

I've run both the SAGE EBR and the LAW483 M14 MCS by TROY.

IF you plan to run traditional optics, want B.U.I.S. and favor AR15 furniture consider the MCS.
IF you want a battle proven, simple yet robust M14 stock consider the lighter EBR chassis system.

I prefer forward mounted optics and iron sights - my M14s are in SAGE EBR stocks.
