I wonder how much it wieghed?
Also was this LTR308, Lazerus2000 new rifle stock that they were working on?
Except for the side rail, I real dig this rig.

Problem I see is it uses the stock front gas ferule, so the only real pressure points are likely at the receiver, trigger and on the low tolerance ferrule.

The Troy, AKM and Sage systems will probably be more inherently accurate.

I agree -

This new aluminum stock seems to have the accuracy attributes of a standard stock but with receiver bedding.

If the price was well below Troy, AKM and Sage prices, it would be a viable alternative for those who want traditional M14 accuracy design.

I want my rifle to hit what I'm pointing it at. I don't really care if the bullet is not concentric with the target, as long as it is within a usable distance of the center point for the objectives I set for the rifle.

A nice light stock like this design would make a shorty m14 with a small scope(1-4x as an example) an extremely handy rifle for the 300-500m range. Yet capable of being easily used within 300m.

But I'm an arm chair warrior, with extremely limited magnified optics experience.

interesting...... what range was this at?
I know of several guys who have machined up thier own one offs with no intention or ability to reproduce for market sales. Could it be such a stock? Or is a canadian manufacturer about to step up with a new n cool looking option?

we'll have sage stocks soon , we got troys and jae stocks ...... ltr308's venture is coming along nicely it seems....... and now someone out there is sportin this creation....

The OP needs to get back to us with some details hehehehe p.m. me if you want

I also note the buttstock is not in line with the bore, but then, neither is a Sage. The Troy is, but like most of the chassis offerings, it too has its limitations.

What I wish was out there would look like this:

1) Troy chassis layout with collapsible stock in line with the bore.
2) Troy style full rail, no scope mount required
3) SAGE Operating rod guide system
4) SAGE chop-mod forestock length
5) Gas lock sight high enough to co-witness with a flip-up BUIS on the Troy rail
6) Ability to dismount the barrelled receiver from the chassis without having to remove the top rail from the barrelled receiver, thus retaining zero.
7) SAGE/AKM type lightening cuts on the sides of the chassis around the mag well.
8) SAGE type Kydex lower removable handguard.
