M-14 i got

Im proudly presenting the pictures of the M14 i recently got
it's a 2007 norc import
it's got a usgi fiberglass stock with the Skullboy camo on it
it's got a SA gen 3 mount on
a M-1 Garand rear sight
a tasco scope
trigger job done at mysticplayer
some sort of cheekrest

next im planning on putting a harris bipod on it
then the long list of mods starts:
decent scope
change op-rod
go through an m14 clinic...

i checked the gas system and it does not need shimming
i know that at the clinics unitizations is done

This year, I'll finally able to be there Barney ! My fiancee just had our first child (A beautiful girl) and I'm on a 6 MONTH PARENTAL LEAVE ! ! ! ! ! Since she owns a big dairy farm and had a ''C- section'' I took the opportunity to leave work for a period of 6 months......to take care of the farm with my in-laws while she recovers ans takes care of the little one .....

So, John and Barney, count me in in MArch.

If My rifle can be the ''demo'' gun... here what I plan on doing. BArrel and bolt swap + bedding on a reenforced (wellfare Mac-Millan) USGI stock.......

I'd like to be there too. Even if it's a 17hrs drive.
Maybe you could start a thread to keep us updated.

On my side, I would turn my M1A loaded in a scoped EBR.

Yes, that is a Rooster33 cheekrest.......Made right here in B.C.....

I only used the Rooster33 because there was nothing else like it being made at the time, and I had a hand in refining the design.

It still seems to be a popular design as I see several companies copying and marketing the design.

That stock still looks good a well!!!!!
