I cannot insert a mag with the bolt closed it will latch on the front but it just won't go in far enough on the rear to latch, if I remove one round it will close with out a problem. Its also seems to jam the odd time, the round gets caught half way out of the mag. It will do this with all 4 mags, its the first problem I have had with the rifle in the 2 or so years I have had it and its seen a fair about of ammo. One thing I have noticed is that the trigger group is sitting pretty far down in the stock, could the stock have compressed?

Your mags are probably pinned too tight. Mine were as well.

I just drilled out the rivot, and disassembled the mag. I stuck the follower (only) back in, and turned the mag upside down. Slipping 6 rounds into the mag, I took a fine tipped marker, and inserted it in the rivot hole, marking the back of the follower.

I then took a grinding stone in the Dremel, and cut a radius in the center of the flat part of the follower that runs up the back of the mag. I ground half way between the old bottom and the mark.

Now re-assembled, the mags won't hold 6 rounds of course, but they will fit 5 rounds plus some seating room.

I don't think its the mags because I was able to put a mag in with a closed bolt without any problems before. I'll take a look at them and double check and make sure there isn't any problems.

No, it sounds like the mags. Notice that the top of the follower is concave whereas the top of a cartridge is convex? Thus the top of the cartridge sits higher than the top of the follower would. Thus it gets up against the underside of the bolt and because they're pinned tight they won't push that top bullet down enough on a loaded mag. That's why the mag will go in when loaded with less than 5 rounds but not with 5 rounds.
