M-14 Scout Optics Options?

Just looking to see what folks are running for scout mounted optics on their M-14s. I'm trying to decide what to buy for my Blackfeather Socom.....Pics would be awesome.

No pics of mine yet, since I'm still building. But I got a SHG on the factory stock with a forward mounted Aimpoint PRO. Not a 'true' Scout set up, I guess, since there isn't any magnification, but I expect it will be a versatile arrangement for short and medium distance shots.

I'm torn between a red-dot and a true scope as well...

I went with the red dot since, in theory, I could use the PRO on my AR platform. That said, both are still in various states of build. I never intended for this rifle to be a long range precision shooter, so I figured I might as well buy a good quality RDS that would be versatile on multiple platforms.

Allegedly, according to H20Man and others, the PRO or T1 will co-witness with the SHG and irons.

I used the hi lux scout scope x2-7 variable I think. Got it from Wolverine, I really like it. Also has a bdc.

My full length has an outsanding full scope. This, however is an "18" inch "Socom" with a short stock.

I picked up a Hi Lux LER scope from Wolverine as well. Mounted it on my K-31. Very nice scope for the money.
