M 14 stocks (wood & synthetic)where to get them?

It's not mine... Just a picture of one I found online. I believe it is a boyds though.

I'd like some answers to GunLovers questions though.

Travis, what's the weight difference between the wood and original synthetic stock?

I'm honestly not sure of the weight difference.

It's a battle rifle so it just feels heavy (a real good heavy :D) and I left it at that hahaha

In all honesty though, this may sound crazy but the Chinese Chu wood seemed to me, the lightest of the walnut, synthetic and the Chu Wood.

It might just be all in my head but I was shocked at how light the Chu Wood was when I got all the metal off it.
Like feather light!

Excellent, thanks Doc!

A couple of more questions, if I may:

- Which stock will make it easier to accurize an M305 walnut or synthetic?
- If we want to find out about products and services offered by Ingram Custom Rifleworks, including pricing, without inquiring about somethin in specific, how do we go about it?
- Is there a rubber butt pad which won't make the stock any longer than the original steel pad? I love the length of pull as it is and would hate to make it any longer.

Thanks.

I'd like to know all of this too. I'd especially like to know of there is a stock out there that ditches the metal buttpad. Its heavy and I dont need it.

NO WOOD STOCKS ANYWHERE!?!? I've been looking all over the place and treeline is right sold out. Boyds will ship the unfinished ones? i could get down on putting a few coats of what is it "tung oil" on it. where to get and how do you do it?

I'm winding down my internet presence for a few months while I plow through the work on my plate.
Ingram Custom Rifleworks will be able to offer full build services and custom builds on ICR riflestocks. I'm looking forward to working closely with select retailers and canadian manufacturers to source the premium components my clients are after.
When the website is ready, the word will get out ;)
I look forward to returning to the bench in a couple or 3 months.

As for buttpads. I'm aware of only the one style. The thick one
