M-14 stripper clips

This might be a dumb question, but for fun I tried to put a SKS stripper clip in the slot on my M14, and it was to big. Now, the diameter of a 7.62x39 bullet is smaller than the 7.62x51. So my thinking is, although I know it would not work, it should have fit with room to spare, should it not ???? Are the side rails on the stripper clips for the M-14 smaller than the SKS stripper clips ???

Where can I pick up some stripper clips for the M-14 ???

Old Sarge's Dropzone is all you need to pick up Re-Pack kits for the M14, or just strippers if you'd really like. Still I like the Repack kits, they come with a bandoleer, a magazine charger, 6 cardboards and 12 stripper clips each. And you can get 12 of these packs for 60$. Thats 5$ for each set of 12 strippers and everything else you need.

Ahhh thanks for the link. I looked there but never found them. I only want a few, so I guess the shipping will be more than the clips lol.

The Re-Pack kits are interesting, but really all I need is the stripper clips.

See if you can find some Canadian milsurp ammo, like IVI 77. It comes on stripper clips that fit the M14.
