I think its more like Norinco and the BS empty promises. I had a friendly discussion with staff while ordering, and it seems that it is out of their control. I feel bad for the good people there taking flak for Norincos empty promises. They will get here I have no doubt.. but I bet you a dollar it will be when the snow is gone :)

I couldn't wait for it any longer so I found the same deal elsewhere. I just hope that there are no warranty issues. However I will be buying some other goodies from the far east when they arrive.. like that .22 mauser copy :) amongst other things.

Don't be hard on the Marstar gang, it is not their fault. I do agree however that it wouldn't hurt to give updates on this particular delivery since so many people are waiting on it, and it is about a year now.

Thanks for all the other good stuff, and the friendly service!

How is it Norinco's fault when other importers get the same product but a year sooner? No, I'm sure Marstar would have been very quick to inform us if that were indeed the case to deflect comments like these. My suspicion is that Marstar is more interested in other markets and products and Canadian gun enthusiasts get the back burner treatment. By John's own admission he sells like ten times more ammunition (for example) to the States than to us. Not hard to read between the lines and see where his priorities lie.

in case you don't get it "UNCLE GUIDO" has nothing to do with norinco- it's got EVERYTHING to do with PIETTA or whoever john was going to get to make the ITALIAN m14 copies- norinco would be uncle ho

I was referring to the rest of the staff.. like the helpful people on the phone who don't own the company. But if you wanna rage out, knock yer socks of pal.. all the power to ya! :) You could just go elsewhere.

I forgot about the Italian ones.. I am not holding my breath. A nice M1 Garand under a thousand would be swell though.

i take it you're not familiar with the "uncles"- it's a way of referring to a country without actually stating- ie america is uncle sam, russia is uncle joe, italy is uncle guido, uncle margret is great britain( inside joke)and you can guess the rest-

i just called up and was told sometime in March.
on the plus side, it means that some of the sold out accessories i wanted can be combined with the order.

if it doesnt show by march, im going to cancel.

everyone just moved up one spot on the list :)

Now I am waiting for the Norc .22 mauser clone.. :)

and my brass order of course, to feed the new dillon 650

I just bought one from Badger, $429 with hardcase, 2 mags (1 a 5/20). I ordered it on Fiday and got it next Friday and was shooting it on Saturday.

Trade Ex Canada has a deal on the M305 with 500 FMJ rounds and free shipping.

Although this doesn't look like much of a deal, as it's only free shipping on the gun and $2.75 off of the price of the items puchased individually.
