I recently purchased one from Karsten and I'm very pleased. I haven't mounted it yet but it was very easy to arrange and complete the purchase from north of the 49th. Production quality is great and I can't wait to get it set up. I'd deal with them again any day.

I have edited posts as Karsten is not a sponsering dealer here, and therefore can not promote/advertise or sell his products through here................unless he decides to join our dealer program.

I picked up an Eagle Rifle Cheek Pack from One Shot Tactical Supply then I used high density foam to build it up to the right height. Once I have everything how I wanted it I used double sided tape to hold the foam in place.

It has a "field expediant" look to it that I rather enjoy

I did exactly the same thing, but with duct tape :).

Doesn't your face get uncomfortable sticking to the double sided tape? LOL.

Sorry, I had this flash vision of wrapping double sided tape around the foam and the outside being sticky. Couldn't help but share it with the rest of the sick, twisted freaks.
 
Thanks but seeing as Skullboy still has his axe to grind over issues I will no longer be shipping to Canada and have asked to be deleted from membership here.

Bad part is that Skullboy's buddy hasn't been making anything close for years and no one has heard from him either. Now Skullboy has insulted and attacted me for the last time.

His good Ole Canuck ways of getting even hurt a lot of people...Attitude speaks volumes and I heard him loud and clear.

As you could see, when someone asked about a cheek rest, I brought up your name. Sorry to hear you've taken this personal issue public and decided not to sell to Canadians any more. We can only judge you by your actions, and not anyone else's. I can buy my stuff where I choose, and I don't think any of us want to be pawns in your personal differences with someone else. Not very professional of you sir.

Not an Issue with you or anyone else....I was pointing out a diffenence between an Exact Knock Off.

When I have been attacted by Skullboy on a number of boards his claim has been proven Unfounded.

This was Skullboy's chance to get even and the PM's were heard as such...Your Note Welcome and I will Delete/Edit your posts...which he did even before I received the PM.

I will be as Professional as those on the board and if Skullboy and Rooster33 are what things are measured by I will take your remarks and add them to the same company.

Lotta attitude up North.

Lets get this clear..............

Since Karsten is a business and was promoting/advertising the things he makes here on CGN, he was told of the Dealer's program and that he is required to becom ea sponsering CGN dealer in order to advertise/promote/sell here.

He was informed that if he continued to advertise/promote his items here without being a CGN sponsering Dealer, such posts would be removed/deleted..............and if he persisted without becoming a Dealer he would risk being removed from here just as other businesses have been when they tried to circumvent the dealer policy.


He stated that his sales here would/do not cover the Dealer's fees and that he would not be shipping to Canada anymore.

There was no insult or attack. I made it clear to Karsten that he was NOT being singled out, and that anyone else would be told the same thing in regards to advertising/promoting their wares.

There were issues with him a couple years ago when he came up with his cheekrest as it was a blatent copy of the Rooster33 product.We had words on another forum and I left it alone after that.I felt I had to stand up for a good friend who was having his idea/product unknowingly copied............

My PM to him was polite and to the point and I made no mention of past differences.

Yes..........attitude AND Ethics speak volumes about who people are................

I am sorry that he will not ship his items to Canada anymore, but that is his decision.........

Anyone who had been here long enough knows that I am person/moderator of integrity and honesty.

Karsten was told that if he didn't like the way the site was run, that he could say the word and have his account deleted.................which he has done..............
