M-1911A1 new sport model need info

I'm seriously considering buying this fine looking 1911. Can someone please talk me into it or out of it? I know it comes with 2 mags and has some added new features, but for a guy who only ever owned a llama and an Armco tinned norc, I dunno if this is a good reintroduction 1911 or if I should wait for the 1911C coming in a few months?

It is a great gun!

Was my first and I was not disappointed. Had it for a year and ran at least a couple thousand rounds through it without issue.

Mag release had a burr that needed to be filed off to drop mags free, but that was about it.

Finish was excellent as well.
