Just found M22 1000 rounds box at Crappy Tire for 49.99 I remember when it first came out it was 59.99 or 69.99
Just wondering if you guys have seen it cheaper? Wish is was hollow point however I've read that round nose in semi autos have less issues. I agree if you compare it to yellowjacket HP. The stepdown design really jams in my Mossberg and su22. However even SuperX HP have no issues in my guns and they have a huge HP design.
Anyway thanks guys for your time!
The land I shoot on, the owner wants me to shoot gophers with HP, so I can't argue with him. Right now I have about 4-5K in AE 38g HP and 500 dynapoints

Not to ask a stupid question but is the M-22 ammo a lot better than Federal bulk? The 550 or 525 (I don't really pay attention the quanity anymore) at CT around here is about 25 bucks. Which would make it a bit cheaper and it's HP...

I've had a lot of duds with 333 and 555, I stay away from them. The 525 win isn't bad but my 22s don't groups as tight with them as dynapoints or AE.

Bass Pro had a bunch at Crossiron Mills Mall last week for $49.99. Didnt pick any up cause the Federal Bulk is slightly cheaper and shoots well in all my guns and I wasnt sure how well this stuff would work. Might go back and try a box out.

Are they clean burning? I didnt want to shoot teh blazer because people were saying it was a mess afterwards + sandy residue... if the M-22 is clean then I would get 1000 of that..

I'm willing to try anything, especially ammo that saves me a few bucks as long as it is as good or better than the Federal Premium bulk I'm buying now.. If anyone has some range results using this ammo please let us (those who havent used M-22) how it works..

I've found the M-22 to be way more consistent than Federal Bulk. On a whim I bought a box and was pleasantly surprised when M-22 was still cycling in my GSG when Fed Bulk was not ejecting and was getting stuck in the chamber. My SR-22 w/ gen2 9-22 promags runs Fed Bulk fine so I've never tried it in there. I can't ever recall having an a failure to feed issue with M-22 on my GSG. I just bought the Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kit for my G17 which I've noticed has a crazy steep feed angle. It's gotten hung up a few times on Fed Bulk and Remington Golden Bullets (which the manufacturer recommends). Both of those are hollow points so the kit would be a good test for some round nosed stuff. I'll report back later when I've fed some through the conversion kit.

I have a kit for my G22 and a friend has one for his G17 RTF2, both have had feed problems with various ammo. He has two mags that he was having tons of problems with and when I tried them in my gun there were none(aprox. 150 rnds.). I have used the M-22 with no problems, but they are more expensive than other stuff that works just as well, so I won't be in any hurry to buy more.

Around here I bought a couple boxes for around $25. No issues with them. These and the blazers in the 500
Round box (packaged in boxes of 50) have functioned the best in my
Semi autos, better than federal bulk and win 555 which I found had quite a few
Rounds with loose bullets. This in turn causes function problems, unless you use them in a Bolt gun, which is what I do with them.
