Hello,

Went to the shooting range yesterday with my M-305 to adjust the scope. Those are the last 3 shots I did with it at 100 yards. I guess that with a lot more practice, I would be able to shoot dead center. Always a little bit on the right side, I guess it must be how I squeese the trigger. I used Federal 150 grains Power Shok amo. That brand seems to give me good results.

Well if they always hit slightly right why don't you just adjust your scope left 2 clicks or a 1/2 inch, providing it has 1/4 minute adjustments?

One of my biggest complaints with the average scope setup on the M14, is your head is way up off the comb. Your chin is practically the only thing touching the stock. It is almost a miracle anybody gets consistent groups.

Before you throw a bucket of money at a more expensive scope mount or scope, invest in a $2.00 pool noodle and a roll of @" duct tape. Try making a el cheapo 2" high cheek rest. Then go do some more shooting!

And to quote another CGN-er.... you missed the ruler.....

Darn now I know !!! I should have placed the ruler a little bit higher on the right side !!!!! :D

Like Maple_Leaf_eh mentionned one of the problem is the very high position of the scope. Maybe it's time to invest in a 2 $ el cheapo cheek(o) rest(o) to see the difference.

thanks
