m-305, m-14 manual safety

With my m-305 I've noticed that my manual safety is hard to engage, is that normal for the firearm or is there somthing wrong with the trigger group.
I would say that it takes moderate+ pressure to engage it , and a little bit less to disengage. Have not yet fired the tool, please help!

Sounds pretty normal for an M14 safety.They can be a little stiff at times.

I own 2 M14 and on both it got smoother with time.

 

[Ripstop]

Sit in front of the T.V. and flip the safety on and off. After about a hundred engagements, it will smooth out.
