Tested out the rifle at 220 yards today. This is the one Hungry has helped me with a bit, new Krieger match barrel, op-rod guide and some sound advice.
Scope is a 2-6, used the bipod. Dialed it in a bit using my own ammo.
Winchester brass, 155gr FMJBT, 44.5gr WC735.

I think the results (except for one flyer) were pretty acceptable.. (and I can explain the flyer).. LOL :D

We had shot at the target once before and those are the ones circled in marker. Number 3 was right on the edge of a previous shot. Two touch the bull, two in the 9 ring and one crappy flier.. but oh well

Thanks Hungry! This thing is turning out to be a decent shooter!

PS: It out shot a Rem 700, but I think my buddy was having a bad day, he's usually much better.

Looks good ...more pics and info on your rifle please :)..what are the optics ?

I went with an Ultimak front rail and TRS-25 ,

100 yard group is roughly the same, maybe a bit smaller. This is likely more the function of the shooter, not the gun though. LOL

Rifle specs for those asking:

M305 receiver and gas assembly (unitized)
Glass stock
Kreiger Criterion barrel
M1A flash hider
Hungry op rod (can't remember where it originally came from, maybe he will pipe up on that one)
UTG Rail
Crappy pistol scope 2-6 variable
White lithium grease :D

Thanks for the kind words about this assembly and M14 project. It truly was fun watching you jump up and down on that receiver wrench! :D

That op rod guide is the MagWedge guide sold at TSE in Calgary, SFRC in Ontario.... and.... one of my next Funker Tactical Episodes will feature this Magwedge unit or M14Medic unit as the package says! :)

Both the mentioned vendors are CGN sponsors! ;)
