P.S. this is my 300th post :D

Two minutes with a file is what it took me. You will have to disassemble your trigger group though. There is an excellent vid on You Tube, showing the trigger group disassembly.

Haha, thanks saskcop. If I have time I wouldn't mind posting a pic of where I did the filing, even though it is very straight forward.

I hope you are still enjoying the Remington R1.

Just before you Dremel dudes plug that unit into the wall socket, just grease the crap out of the engaging surfaces of that safety inside the TG. Let the hammer forward and shove a q-tip with grease on the mid section of that hammer /safety interface. Play with that. Jockey that safety back and forth with all that lube in place.

Ya might just save yerself a pile of grinding and possible disappointment (oops, I mean)!!!

For those of you who have been to my clinic(s) before.... remember it's hockey season once again, my beloved Maple Leafs are on the ice finally. You know what that means. Break out the 'toothpaste' or fine valve grinding compound and polish them engaging surfaces for the ENTIRE Leafs Game! :D

Go Leafs Go!

Cheers and keep helping the newbies out there!
