I have a 2004 M-700 "Classic" that had the J-bolt. I removed it and ordered this replacement from Brownell's. The replacement bolt has a much thicker bolt, it's actually fluted, and the spring fit is far better, not all bunched up as you can see.

It was cheap too, like $48 US. :)
 
No need to change the entire firing pin assembly to get rid of the J-lock, just order a new bolt shroud from western gun parts and replace it. Bolt shrouds are around $30, I replace them all the time as you cannot take apart a J-lock to refinish the bolt shroud.
