It would probably be deemed an AK variant and thus prohib. The antis have a raging hardon for the AK and making sure they get rid of every single inanimate object that even resembles one. The RCMP even siezed AK-like BB guns ffs. The only way it would make it to our market is if the reciever and action were so vastly different that it could not be fitted with AK parts and then they'll try every trick in their big red bag to make it go full auto. Then 3 yrs later you can buy one for 150% more than US MSRP. I dont mind being proven wrong though
