I know a gunsmith, with his lathe can do wonders on shaving off some weight to make it lightweight at 18.6”.
He did a almost pencil barrel off those Green Mountain NR ACR Midweight barrels that came out 3 years ago. About $100-120 but I understand paying 2k for a FDE rifle and 2-4moa capable wouldn’t be worth it.
no 10 round pistol mags no thanks
IF someone sent a CMMG mutant pistol to RCMP lab then we may get a 10 round ak pistol mag
IF someone sent a CMMG mutant pistol to RCMP lab then we may get a 10 round ak pistol mag
LMFAO Yeah I did a few years back and NOPE was the answer
Krazee9 on Reddit said:I doubt it. The LAR was a lucky mistake that they're not going to make again. See: CZ-858 pistol.
The site's gone, but a dude imported a Vz 58 pistol. The RCMP declared the magazine "dual-use" and mandated it pinned to 5. Pretty much any future guns are going to encounter the same thing.
Over on the Code of Arms Video WK181-C thread on Reddit, user Krazee9 posted the following:
So LAR-15 and XCR Pistol magazines are "grandfathered" under their prior approvals, but I agree with Krazee9, going forward any new pistol magazine that also fits a "scary" rifle will be marked as dual use by the RCMP and limited to five rounds. So even if you could get a Mutant Pistol, or a WK181-C Pistol, into Canada, it wouldn't help get you an 10 round AK magazine![]()
Step 1: design a bolt action 7.62x39 rifle that accepts AK mags (but never label it as such).
Step 2: design a 10 rd mag for said bolt action rifle.
Step 3: enjoy said mags in your semi-auto AK-mag compatible rifle.
According to the caliber article its best group was like 2.5 MOa and its average was like 4-5".
Already have one, the AIA M10 in 7.62x39 which takes AK mags
Well, someone has to design a magazine that's 'originally designed' for said rifle, and voila.
Is this the DMR version or the regular version? I want to know if I need to upgrade the safety.
