I think for everyone involved to save face a decision needs to be made quick. Not sure why it's so hard for M + M to figure out an msrp... They could use wanstalls price or they could use their own usd msrp and convert it to Canadian

Damn, I step away from here for a bit and I miss out on good pre-order pricing.

At $1500 count me in, any more and the VZ or WR762 become the lead contenders. In case the two dealers and manufacturer happen to be reading this and / or care.

Well at least it gives us a reason to say "shenanigans." ;)

Since I'm new to this, having emerged from a black hole, I have a new perspective: bring it in, at a reasonable cost, asap. Nobody 'needs' one, and price game shenanigans is how people comfortably move on. I won't be one of those bastards who declares I'd "pay anything" off the backs of fellow gun owners either.

What I have seen in the last four days is a couple of members going from thread to thread to see if different dealers will under cut each other, but unable to get a satisfy answer from any dealers they start inserting their own story lines and throwing accusations of price gouging or other shady dealings, it is the perfect example of trolling I have ever seen.

I haven't seen anyone do that - links?

If what you mean to say is shopping around to see who will have the best presale price, then yes and it's stupid if you aren't doing that.

I think some people held off on wanstalls preorder to see what Canada ammo was bringing to the table or some preferred dealing with Canada ammo instead but in the end got screwed since what was brought to the table was the end of the preorder and a price increase.

Yea that's the boat I'm in.. Good faith in retailers doesn't always pay off apparently

That OK . If it's not in stock I'm not interested in playing the pre order lotto

That's been my opinion for a couple years now, I'm not getting drawn into paying for something that might come some day. I have plenty of other rifles to play with while waiting for the hype to die off and see what the pre-sale guys think of them.
With all the reports of problems with the 102 I'm glad I stayed away till they work out the bugs.

I don't want to get too involved with the drama, but it will be quite annoying if the price goes up a fair bit after the initial run. I'll pick one up if it's in same range, but if it's a fair bit more forget it.

Leave us out of all that. M+M is silent since they asked us to wait for their answer on Monday. I wait along with the rest of you.

Leave us out of all that.

Why? You insinuated you would offer "the lowest price" when the Wanstalls pre-order was still active. Then clarified by saying the "lowest price in the industry" once the pre-orders stopped. Seems pretty shady to me. Especially when it seems the prices will be going up!

How would you like me to clarify it for you? We do not know our cost yet. But I guarantee it will be the lowest. How is that shady?

The lowest price at the time you said that was $1450 based on the preorder. Are you saying you will beat that price?
I have no idea what our cost is, but our retail price will be the lowest when they do come to market. We have no knowledge of the details behind the posted price of $1450. Until we know what our cost is, we cannot tell you a price, other than to say it will be the lowest.

The only thing shady about this is that it seems somewhere along the way you were left in the dark. No shadyness on your part in my opinion.

life is hard for us peon customers ....

Sounds like m + m was just dealing with wanstalls and left Canada ammo out of the loop? Wanstalls must have known their cost and supply if they knew their delivery date and posted up a price. Sounds like you guys need to have a good talk with m + m. You guys are getting jerked around by them and sounds like they're trying to gouge the market.

A bit of actual info and not crying and whining
