I don't know if it's been said yet...
But #### M&M and their rifle. What kind of ####### thanks all his loyal Canadian customers when they have yet to sell a single goddamn thing here?
Dicks.

I'm starting to feel the same way. Hopefully CanAm can come up with a pre order sale or actual sale for the same price as WS that MIGHT restore my faith in M+M's business practices thus far.
But hey who am I ? Just one of the minion Canadians that they figured should cover " their American deficit " or whatever they said !
Not too cool M+M

M+M looks like a pretty shady deal and it likes cutthroat competition. After seeing the interest here in Canada, they have W and CA thrown under the bus and still waiting for a higher bidder to appear. Not a single rifle delivered yet they don't mind to shaft average customers who do not think their price was attractive like some rich people claimed. made in usa or not this is not worth the $1700---$2000 tag.

Wow, the hate is strong from those who missed out on the abbreviated Wanstalls pre-order. And from those who assume shady price-gouging of the Canadian market to come from M+M Industries! This sort of self-feeding mass hysteria is exactly how witches got burned back in the day....

I'm not sure that any firearm at any price is worth all of this drama and angst, but it does make for some fine internet entertainment. The bitterness and cynicism are absolutely delightful!

Not shady price gouging.

To use M+M own words, "to subsidize" referencing US sales. Not shady at all. At least they are up front saying they expect Canadians to help make their products cheaper to US buyers.

Wake up ppl. I use to travel all around the world. North America pays two to four times price for most commodities, same brands, same models. Sometimes outdated models, based on old technology, while Europe and Japan enjoy new stuff for better price. It happens only because we CAN pay this much. Because manufactures and distributors know the markets and control them. This small incident is just a reminder how free is free market.

The drama and the angst is priceless. I'm almost willing to pay more for it. Part of me is hoping for an outrageous msrp so I can watch people really lose it.

Lol just for this if I ever decide to sell my m10x (which I won't cuz this is what I've been buying and selling all rifles to get ot this one) you will the guy I contact!!!

How about everyone just stop getting suckered into this pre-sale crap and just wait for rifles to hit the shelf. If you handle it and like it and also like the price then buy it, if not say thank you and look at the next rifle on the rack. There have been too many let downs that could have been avoided if people weren't so desperate to throw their money at retailers who don't even have a definite delivery date. What's the rush? These are for the most toys, we don't need them and we can definitely live without them till the next new rifle comes along. If they really are as good as we hoped there will be another shipment and another after that, they bring them in small numbers so they can keep demand high and charge more.
Why do you think we get bent over the barrel and pumped dry here? Because people are willing to throw handfuls of money at retailers just to get something non restricted. It's the same for the $1500 rifles as it is for the $4000 rifles. If it says non restricted people lose their minds thinking it will be the holy grail of firearms, then they show up six months after the original predicted arrival and everyone realizes it has problems just like all the rest before it.
I'd like a decent x39 rifle to add to the collection but I'm definitely not going to pre-order something when I've only read a couple internet reviews and the manufacturer seems to be playing games.

This thread is half people that are salty that they didn't get in the pre order and half people who did who are in the "f*** You I got mine " camp

Well at least now I've got some time to catch up on what went on....

I can definitely see the price going up on the M10x after this initial introductory preorder is fullfilled...

Nobody seemed to complain at the hefty NR tax by the BCL 102 distributor, doesn't anybody remember that the prices on the restricted NEA AR's were only $899.00-$1199.00 ? You guys are paying roughly an additional $500.00 in NR tax for the 102.

Hmmm oddly enough the CDN BCL distributor doesn't even list the NEA/BCL AR platform anymore...

Didn't you pre order a MH/MV tho????

Im glad Wanstalls honoured the pre-orders.

It sucks that it will be more expensive than thought, but, hopefully its around the same as the 102 or less, and we get a great AK-alternative here in Canada.

Its going to be a fun winter.

1/3 Gloating
1/3 Sour grapes
1/3 Of us watching the show and waiting to discuss technical pros and cons of the platform once the commotion/emotion settles

At the current price the M10 is attractive and will generate great sales.
I think the price is near the tipping point though.
It won't take much to make demand drop off significantly.
