M+M M10x+ Gen 3 review

$3k ?


The Gen 3+ is ~$2300 and the earlier gen rifles with the gen 3 internal upgrades are $1600-1700.

Its almost like CGN has had a glut of recent new members who's only intent is to sh!tpost...

I have seen at least 2 reviews concerning the gen 2. Shoots reliable but don't ask for accuracy. All over the place.

The gen 3 accuracy seems to be in the area of 3-5 MOA what I gathered so far.

I really like the platform. I got an ol beat up gen 2 with over 5000 rounds and a gen 3 coming in the mail next week. Good times.

2-3 moa sounds good to me. 10 round groups? The Geco is brass cased boxer primed, yes? (as opposed to repackaged east German surplus).
I'm leaning toward the gen 3 + with oem 16" chrome lined barrel.

Nice! 2-3” is what I was hoping for too. I’ll keep shooting, trying different ammo and loads and see. The guns been a blast to shoot!

No. Its because some started to #### on the Canada's National Rifle....the skEHs.

Lets pay 4-6 times as much for....same accuracy... and less reliability.

What a cope.

Where do you keep getting this "less reliable" crap? My 12" Gen 3 Carbine has had exactly one minor stoppage that I attribute to a poorly pinned Magazine. Other than that it has been perfect over the course of several hundred rounds. Reliability is no longer an M10X issue.

Try to keep up will ya?
 
I saw that other dealers other than CSC are also offering the M+M M10x and advertising it as gen 3 at a lower price. Are those true gen 3 or just gen 2 with gen 3 internals?

Let me know what ammo works best for you. I found brass ammo to perform better than any of the weird and wonderful steel cased surplus.

I'll take a picture of my grouping next time at the range. Yes, brass cased boxer primer. Surplus ammo, due to its load variances just doesn't give me sub 3 MOA. I can live with 3 MOA but I prefer better, and that's what GECO does for my M10X.

CSC is supposedly getting 16" M10Xs Gen 3!

What’s it to you if someone doesn’t want to shoot a crappy SKS and chooses to spend their money on one of these? It’s not like the money is coming out of your pocket lol.

The rifle is functioning as it should. Yes, the accuracy is the same (so far) as most SKS’. But by and large it’s superior in aesthetics, ergonomics, materials, and it’s modern. You can properly mount optics and accessories and it fits the bill of a fun black or “red” rifle.

If mine ####s the bed I’ll be happy to report on it as well. So far mines been great after my receiver latch was promptly replaced. I’ve had one stoppage for a tightly pinned mag. None in the 250 rounds since.

Because people carry water for ####ty companies who use their customers as quality control.

Everyone who bought 1st and 2nd should be getting a massive vouchers or a new gun free as far as im concerned 😆

I didn’t buy a gen 1 or 2 for that reason. After seeing reviews of the gen 3 I was happy to buy one and give it a try since the company actually fixed the issues and made a gun that works like it’s supposed to.

I’m not going to stomp my feet and be mad forever because once upon a time they made an unreliable platform that they since have made reliable lol.

No sense crying about it forever and letting it affect my life. Especially if you have no skin in the game it makes even less sense to be upset about it.

Unfortunately companies using their customers as QC is par for the course in the Canadian market. That’s why In this case I’m glad I waited for this current gen!
