Badger Arms Supply Thank's

Purchased my M&P15-22 from Badger and couldn't be happier. Great people to deal with, very competitive pricing. They support their customers. I will be buying from them again.
Thanks Again,

Badger has always been there for me!!!!

I have purchased from badger on line many times and have found them to be on top of things.
There is little chance they would tarnish there name over your purchase on purpose, have you contacted them?
You are a new CGN user, this month with 3 posts. They have not 1 other poor report.:nest:
I have been to the shop{by appointment only} and had a great time talking and looking at future purchases and thinking how I could get it by the wife.
I do not think for a min that they would do anything on purpose. They have been doing this for many yrs and it's a lot to throw away for what $70 or so of profit!:jerkit:

Transaction with newbie!

In this biz as is in any other e-biz ,some people think they have the right to
7-eleven type service on line. This would be great but let us not foget about CFO, first time owners, shipping and not to mention what happens behind the scenes.
Let us go through this sale!!!

This sale started with a very eager and persistent e-mailer ,19 of them in 4 days! This we think is fine most of the time.

He wanted a deal 5 USSR SKS's at $175ea. I agreed and he added 1 crate762 ammo for $189. A great deal for those who know pricing.

I was then told of the 5 diffrent PALS they were to be added to. 2 days later he then cancelled 1 SKS and asked the 5th one to be added to his name.
Shortly there after we were asked to just remove the 5th gun from the order. As we did at the CFO level. 2 of the gus went through quickly and were kindly delivered for free to a friend of the main purchaser 80 km distance from our office! Once again for free! He holds a valid PAL.

The other 2 transfers went very slow as they will with first time PAL users.
But the newbie's took until Friday 11th, the newbie, then asked if I would be around Sunday the 13th, and at this time I had no plans and I asked him to call me before he came. He said he was in town for friends and family anyway. Remember another 18 e-mails came through to see on happenings on transfers, earlier that week that were all replied to..

After all this, yes I did go to a SASK Rider football game with my children on Sunday the 13th. The newbie called me while we were loading up to go for a family afternoon. At this time I said sorry for the change of plans and that we would send the last 2 SKS's at my expense for the change. Thinking all was good we had a great family day!

Monday came and so did the flood of weekend orders, left my capable staff to there duties. long ago I made the decision to ship no less then 10 parcels at one time as we are located 30 min from the nearest post office and being Monday there were few approved transfers go through before the 10 am shipping of canada post. This keeps shipping price down! Our Canada post goes out at 10am daily from our local office.
In this 2.5 days the newbies SKS was boxed for shipping but now my staff was short an address.I then tuesday made them aware of the new shipping method. Yes 2.5 working days after approval from CFO I was told of this nasty thread and felt a little upset to say the least.
After this I made the decision to refund this newbie his money. Let him find this same deal for his buddy elsewhere. Good luck!
Newbies should be aware that yes prices are good on line, but we are only as fast as the CFO will allow and o ya my family on weekend comes first!!!!
As dealers we pay for our orders and are approved on the spot no matter what we buy and we wait 7-14 days delivery. The newbie had me run around
to cheaply get him his guns without shipping, this was fine as we are always after the next sale. But to many changes to the order and CFO delays and because of newbie, as this was his first real gun purchase it caused this to be a longer process then he was willing to deal with patiently.
We process REF#'s from 10-4 daily and ship 2-3 days a week in the order they come to us and are cleared by CFO office. We did do as expected by any regular gun nut. But we can't please every one now can we.

I do not believe this newbie had the right to send this message, not only has he just been a CGN member for 1 day he has a new PAL!!! We have been in biz for many yrs and rarely see this type of gun purchaser.

Why 'the customer is always right' is wrong.
1: It makes employees unhappy
2: It gives abrasive customers an unfair advantage
3: Some customers are bad for business
4: It results in worse customer service
5: Some customers are just plain wrong

http://www.ducttapemarketing.com/blog/2009/07/21/is-the-customer-always-right/

The Right Customer is Always Right. Now, here’s what I mean by that. There is absolutely nothing wrong, in fact there’s everything right, with building a culture of making the customer thrilled at every turn, but you can’t adopt the mentality without two things firmly in place first.

1) You must absolutely set up every communication with the goal of attracting the ideal customer – ideal is a customer that values what you have to offer, values how you offer it, and determines that value is a mutual exchange of such – very much like any healthy relationship. Bad relationships come from misunderstanding yourself and what you really have to offer and the same might be said for attracting customers for the wrong reasons.

2) You must build an experience that does indeed thrill at every turn – from lead generation to getting paid.

With those two qualifications in place you can allow the customer to always be right, because you’ve designed a culture of mutual benefit and your “we won’t rest until its right” policy will serve both of you long term. Small businesses simply can’t afford to attract the wrong kind of life robbing customer and expect to make them thrilled, it’s a nearly impossible task and will be accomplished likely to the detriment of your ideal customers.

So, repeat after me, the right customer is always right – with that mindset the accountability shifts from the customer to you.

I aggree 100% with Gothim

Ohhhhh man. Well ya know what? We all sometimes get frustrated with the transfer process, but that's just what it is... a process.

If the newbie sent that many emails to the supplier, imagine how many phone calls he made to the CFO !!! "That are recorded of course" :) The CFO can take as much time as they feel to run enhanced background checks or perhaps they just have alot of tranfers on the go and its going to take a week or so for them to get to yours.

Man i remember my first rifle, i managed to get on CGN just after i bought it and then i just ASKED about the process, and how/why it could take longer then you expect so i was then prepaired for a 2 week wait... fine and dandy... within 2 hours i had my answer.

All i can say, is that staff at BadgerArms goes above and beyond to help people out, taking into account the different finacial situations Canadians find themselves in these days, by offering honest and flexable payment options to us gun nutz. It's this kind of flexable service that realy puts badger arms on the map as one of the best out there.

I have reccomended badger arms to friends and will continue to do so. :)

So you have the guns, the transfer is done, and you have been paid for the guns but you would rather cancel the order then ship the newbie his guns? Sounds vindictive.
