I just bought a new M&P 9mm .. and while I sit here waiting for the paper work to go through, I wonder if they will come out with a 22LR Conversion kit.

Does anyone else think this may become a reality? Or does one already exist??

I haven't seen one yet .
The M&P forum would be a good place to check .
With the popularity of this pistol it will only be a matter of time .

If enough M&P's get sold someone will come out with a .22 conversion unit for it. And maybe S&W will even produce a .22 version of the M&P, too. ;)

Worth a shot :(

Unfortunatley we do not currently offer any kind of conversion kit and I am unaware of any future plans to carry one.

Regards,

Dave

Subject: Smith and Wesson's new M&P line

Hello,

I am a recent Smith and Wesson Canadian customer who is awaiting government paperwork to go through before taking possession of his first handgun. I recently purchased a brand new M&P 9mm handgun through a Canadian distributer.

My inquiry relates to the possibility of a .22LR conversion kit being available, or becoming available any time in the future. I have noticed that other gun manufacturers have released similar products for their handguns, and as the new M&P pistol is becoming more and more popular, I see it as a very good marketing decision.

I hope to hear back from you soon! Any information would be appreciated.

eee .. if I would have known about advantage arms, I might have actually bought the glock 17 over the mp ... oh well, still a great pistol! .. just gotta start buggin them to make a kit for the smith!
