Yes they’re very easy to field strip, and the rails are removable from the frame (in Glocks, Hks and Walters rails are part of the frame). Don’t know about repair service in Canada, but I heard in US the customer service is pretty good)
The M9-A1 has the lowest bore axis I’ve ever seen on an pistol. And if you handled one you know they are have very good ergonomics which means minimum muzzle flip and felt recoil. The trigger is 5.5lbs and the pull is 4mm with a very short reset. I’m still getting the hang of it but it seems to have a very good accuracy potential.
