So, I'm wondering if any one has some pistols that I could try out. I'm in the market for a new pistol and wanted to try before I buy.

Does any one live in or near Langley that has the following:

-M&P 9 or 40
-M&P Pro 9 or 40
-Sig 226/226 E2 or 220
-H&K anything
-Anything you own that you like so much you think I should try it.

In return you can take some rounds out of my T-series Browning Hi-Power (9mm), Colt Challenger, Colt Woodsman Match Target and a S&W model 41 if it gets here in time.

Thanks,

Scott.

Its a good idea to try a pistol out before you buy it. All the handling in the store will not give the information you will get from firing even a small number of rounds.

I recently got to try another Gunnutz's M&P Pro 9mm and I really liked it and I was able to shoot it quite well. Much better than buying a pig in a poke.

Yeah, I'm looking to get some lead down range so Reliable will do for fit but function will require a range and some live rounds. Might head into Reliable this week if I can.

DVC has got M&P 9, 226 (9mm), 220 (.45), HK USP .45... not cheap because you have to use their ammo but spending money to shoot a gun to help you decide is still cheaper than buying a gun without shooting then realizing you hate it.

I got a Walther P99 in .40 and a HK P30L in 9mm if you wanna try either of those.

Sambaru: I'll send a PM.

I went to DVC once and I think it cost be almost $100 to burn two boxes of 9mm! The guy said it was due to insurance?

If I were in Edmonton I'd go to Phoenix were it's $18 to try any amount of pistols you want and just pay for your ammo on top of that.

dvc is $30 bucks for a day pass, then you just pay for ammo. 9mm is $30 for 50rounds. The guns you don't pay to 'rent', just pay for ammo.

check on the website.. i think wednesday is 2 for 1 so that would cut costs as well
