M&p 9 Help!

I don't have one but did a bit research. From what I read from MP-pistol, the new gun always do that, it is too tight for it to turn.

or put the corner of it against the edge of a table or something and pull down, I think it even says that in the manual. It'll loosen up quick.

before I even opened the thread I knew what it was about...
use an edge of a table and turn the gun
...and once you've decided which size of grip works best for you, put it back and leave it there, use your pinky to flip the little yellow lever down

hi - my M&P9 was really stiff in the change the grips department.
i just put on my old roping gloves and twist and pull. since i have kids that use it (inquisitive little buggers with way different hand sizes) it was only a couple of afternoons at the range and the pin was usable.
interestingly, it has loosened only to a certain point. i was afraid it would get progressively looser, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

EXACTLY... I used it once to change grips... Never bothered with it again.

all that seems to do is jam it all up quite nicely...
Don't forget to drop the mag before removing the slide.

...but of course, still wont release without lowering the sear deactivation lever into the mag well first
Is the sear actually disconnecting when you pull the trigger? The mag will need to be inserted for that to happen.
yeah, i couldn't get it to work .. so i use my pinkey finger/keys, or any other small item i can find to lower that sear ... I doubt I'll ever take that tool out again though .. took the force of a full grown bear to get it the first time!

ive been working at mine seems to get easier...whats hard on the fingers though is loading those new mags...OUCH!

I use a mankey wrench to turn it. Me too had problem with this part. Still hard to turn.
