Finally picked up my pistol yesterday and today in the mail my ATT came in!!! awesome timing and i was super pumped.
Bought 100 rounds of AE 124gr and put her through the paces. flawless and somewhat accurate ( human fault I'm sure :HR: ). its a great little kit, holster, mag holder, 3 mags, uplula loader ( awesommmeeee!! ) , pistol and a nice case. ear plugs are pretty nice too, but i prefer my surefire defenders. the 9mm is a light cartridge and i handle it very well. i found my double taps came in quick succession very easily. stomach shot and head shot 5 out of 6 cycles. i like when i can load the mag hard at a 45* angle and the action snaps automatically. makes it easy to get back on target very quickly. i bought some snap caps and did lots of practice last night and before i went to the range so i felt very comfortable and safe at the range ( i recommend dummy rounds for practice ). overall I'm very happy with the pistol so far and I'm excited to blast of some more dollar bills out of it:rockOn:

The pistol is good design, good feel, good concept. I had a broken slide release, and rust marks. The rust came off with WD40 and some scrubbing. The slide release is being replaced on warranty right now.

Do not know what conclusions to draw quite yet myself. Mine was a 45 ACP. At least 5 years old, and I received the broken slide release after a member on this club did not disclose to me it was broken during the purchase. Member beware, this guy was a member of the Canadian Forces. Seems like honesty isn't part of their policy, training or maybe this is a one off odd ball a**hole. Actually, I got screwed 3 times on CGN, in a row. selling me broken stuff. Thank god warranty helped me out.

Just stating the facts for the record.

I stored my pistol in the S&W original case, I had it for 7 months, I did touch it, and did not clean it or oil it after wards. Maybe thats why the rust started. It came off pretty easy.

I never had issues like this with my CZ75 Shadow.

shot mine today again. flawless and getting better print on paper. better chest groups and decent head groups. it fed 100 115gr AE without a hitch. my double taps are consistent chest to head shots. i can't hold double taps in one area yet. i will work on that. I'm very happy and i clean/ frog lube my firearms after every shoot. i don't have rust issues. sorry to hear about CGN issues. i would shy away from any online dealings myself...unless its a reputable dealer

something to look into down the road. i need to pump a few more rounds through before i start pimping her out. thanks

How is his being in the CF relevant? I'm in the CF, you saying that I'm dishonest because you had problems with some random ####? Are we supposed to be held to some higher standard? No, we're a representation of society in general. The picture in your avatar has equipment that looks like it came from the CF, so perhaps you're dishonest by default too.

Anyway, does anyone know how to adjust the belt loop on the mag pouch? Managed to do it on the holster but it just seems like if I pry it out on the magpouch that piece is going to break or get permanently mangled.

Got mine maybe 2 months ago and have put close to 800 rds through it, great value great gun, never had a jam, easy to clean. Just a great firearm.

Glad to here all the good things about the M&P i just bought one of these for my wife as her first pistol we are hoping to get to the range this weekend for the first time.

I bought my M&P9 a few months ago and after waiting for my ATT I got out shooting it about 2 months ago. I have put about 600-700 rounds through it with absolutely no problems whatsoever.
My only concern is that it seems to shoot a little low.
I am doing a Black Badge course next weekend and I am hoping some of the veterans there can help me out with anything on my part.
Regards,
Glen

Did a BB course with it, had no issues. There were a few times when the mag wouldn't seat because they were tight, but tap rack bang right?

The rust issue is a QA problem covered under warranty. They screwed up with the stainless steel.
