M&P Adjustable sights

Did you check mp-pistol.com? It is also a good place to look. That forum is the best M&P one around.

John, did you phone Novak's ?
I had the impression that if you called them they could do it.
There is definately a picture on their website of a M&P with adjustable sights.
I find it suprising they aren't available everywhere yet.

I don't....M&P is not a target gun really (Military & Police...) it's a service/combat gun. I love the Novak carry sights personally. I guess when they'll make longslide model they might have adjustable sights as an option.

Novak does make an adjustable sight for the M&P. It is the Extreme Duty Adjustable Rear model. The installation requires a corresponding higher front sight. The sights are available in plain black, night sights and fiber optic. They are quoting $82 for the rear and $35 for the front.

Catch is they do not have an export license and they have no interest in getting one.

They suggested ordering through Brownells since they have an export license and can ship into Canada.

Brownells do not list the sight on their site so I guess I have to email them and see how much they will want to get me one.

The saga continues...........

While I agree with you ( it being a service gun) I couldn't help but notice 4 or 5 of them at our local IPSC match and more showing up all the time. Seems to me they are getting to be a popular platform.

Yes it is a service gun but this thread is about the availability of variable sights so......:kickInTheNuts:

Back to the topic ...any Dealers out there who handle Novak sights?:)

(By the way I am still waiting for Brownell to answer)

:(Well so much for my quest!

The only adjustable sights currently available are the Novak Exreme Duty Adjustable. $82 plus $35 for a matching height front.

Novaks are not interested in obtaining the export permits required so they sent me to Brownells.

Brownells email said, in part, `...this order will require a license
before it can be shipped. It may take a few months by the time the
license is approved and the item is received at your location.

We need to get a copy of your import certificate and your order hand
written. Indicating what you want to order with your address and stating
the order will be placed with Brownells.

Our state department is now requiring a DSP83 form completed for any SME
or regulated items.
Please advise that you will need to mail/post the document to us. We
will need the original signatures on file.

Unbelievable!!!:runaway:

Oh well. I guess I will make do with the Novaks on the gun. I thought it would be cool to be able to adjust for different handloads but I guess I will have make do with good ole `Kentucky windage`.

Any order over $100.00 requires the import and export permits, try ordering the rear, then a couple days later order the front. Might cost you a bit more in shipping, but it's less hassle

Brownells will special order and ship the Novaks Extreme Duty Adjustable rear site without any requirements for Import/export permits since the value is less than $100.

Just have to wait a week or so and order the matching front.

What really has me scratching my head is why doesn't Novaks know this? And if Brownells can do it why can't Novaks.

Very strange.
