M&P Apex Kits - AEK & FSS

I have an FFS kit on the way but I'm pretty sure my gun has the old sear block assembly. Can a gunsmith modify my existing sear block assembly or do I have to somehow find a new one? Nobody seems to have the new sear block in stock.

The one I got from Brownells was the newer one.

Unfortunately Brownell's is all out of stock along with everybody else. You'd think that M&Ps were popular or something.

I must say I prefer the polish jobs on the original parts
