M&P - disable mag disconnect?

How hard is it to disable the mag disconnect? Is there some reversible mod that will allow the pistol to be fired without the mag in place? The disconnect makes it difficult to practice dry firing. I suppose i could drop the follower out of a spare mag. That might work.

Take it apart and see.

On the Ruger MarkIII's it's just a spring loaded lever that catches the sear when the mag body is removed; safe and easy to remove.

I've never looked inside an M&P.
