I have a Smith & Wesson M&P in 9mm. I would like to get a holster, I havn't decided what to get yet I am curious whats out there. I plan to use it for general sport shooting as opposed to competition, but it would be nice if I had the option of using it for both. If any one knows whats out there let me know, if you have one show me some pics!

tks

The search function here doesn't really seem that effective. I recently started a post about M&Ps and that was only after searching a variety of different possible ways of spelling it without coming up with a solution.

I bought a fobus rotoholster paddle and the paddle thigh rig for my M&P9.
I'm pretty satisfied definitely good for the price.

Fair enough.

Seems the Bladetech holster is something of a gold standard for the M&P. I have one that I use for IDPA. Good retention but easy on the draw. Run you somewhere between 50 to 60 odd bucks.

If you want something a little less expensive check out eBay for a Fobus holster. They work okay. Sometimes they need a little tweaking to make them work properly...but for 20 odd bucks they are pretty good. I have several of them and they all work..I have used them shooting IDPA and they work okay.

Hope that helps.

Roto Holster

Hey all, here is an update.

I recieved the holster from Questar yesterday, I had to run by the post office after work as I wasn't home for delivery on Thursday:(

This model works very well, quick to hand and it has a "lock" you have to trip to pull the fire arm as well. My only complaint is that it has no soft finish or "fabric" in side the holster so I will probably get some wear marks on the pistol after continuous use, but in the 100 times I've inserted the pistol so far there are no marks on the slide or anything.

Another thing I like about this holster is that you can place the firearm in the holster with the slide locked back and it is just as secure as when it is closed.

Enjoy the picks!:)

Also I am fairly dissapointed with the guys @ One Shot Tactical Supply, I have not even recieved an email form them stating they have my order. I emailed them again on the 19th (6 days after my order) and I still haven't recieved a response... They charged my credit card but still no email saying the order is recieved, being processed, shipped/backordered or incomplete info... I guess I will have to call them to see whats going on.

In contrast Questar had the item to my door 6 days after my order, Thats great a big A+ for Questar, I reccommend them for their service!

Cheers!

Well I am dissapointed in the level of communication from One Shot Tactical Supply (site sponsor) I ordered a dropleg holster on Feb.14th and I still have yet to hear anything from them. I have sent 2 emails to them inqireing about the transaction and I still have no response. They have billed my credit card and I seem to be in limbo......

Should I cancel my order?
