I just received 6 new 10 round mags for my M&P9 (that I bought early last fall) from S&W.
One of the things I noticed when I took them apart (like I do everything) is that they have significantly beefed up the plastic on the connection to the metal mag tube. I don't think these will break nearly as easily now ... we'll see.
The old mag is on the left.
The 17 round mags (pinned to 10 rounds, of course) are still prefered with the full metal tube. Tough to find in Canada though.
