I prefer the Delta Point over the Dr - I've had a few Dr sights and the zeroing is a huge PITA - also it does not have the adjustment locks the Delta and RMR's have which I feel is a MUST on a slide mounted optic due to the G loads.
I have the 3.5MOA dot -- it is PLENTY big enough - I zero'ed it at the top of the irons (little clearer sight picture) for a center hold at 25m. (I find 6 O'clock hold stuff to be good for target shooting - but not ideal for combat shooting - its easier for you mind to put the irons/dot on the target than remember to aim under.
