M&P Pro Series 5inch - Holster Recommendations?

As the title says - what are you guys using for general duty holstering and IPSC?

Will the longer 5 inch barrels fit in regular M&P 4.25 inch holsters?

I don't have any pictures but yes it will. I use a Blackhawk CQC designed for the 4.25" and my M&P Pro runs fine in it. Just looks different because the tip of the slide hangs out the bottom

I use a Blade Tech for my M&P Pro 9, it works fine for IPSC and 3 Gun.

I have used a kydex style holster that had an offset for IPSC use. I still use it for IDPA events. The kydex holster will remove the finish on the rub points if you are concerned about that. The one holster shown above will keep the gun too close to your waist for ideal drawing, but is great for conceal carry (not that we can do that) and IDPA use. BladeTech makes a very good holster for IPSC use; however, if you are going to be a real gamer, a DAA Magnetic RaceMaster is a very good choice. I switched to the Racemaster for all of my pistols. I could have saved a few bucks if I would have just got the RM right from the start.
