I have two 9mm Smith&Wesson M&P pistols; The trigger pulls on both of these Smiths hover around the 4 pound mark and to compete in Canada, they need to survive the trigger pull test. Does anyone know how hard it would be to up this pull to at least 5 pounds, or should I contact S&W and have them do this...

Order another trigger spring from the S&W warranty center would be my suggestion. It may also be the sear has just worn in but I would start with the trigger spring. Let the warranty center know what your concerns are and they maybe able to help.

Replacing either is easy to do yourself.

The m&p is a great gun, I have both the pro and the regular one. But when it Comes to Ipsc 5lbs trigger pull I am ready to rip out my hair. I have tired changing the spring and the sear the problems just comes back after a few matches.

Right now I am going to shoot std min, until I find a better idea, I am looking into changing the sear and spring with the JD model m&p

Sent from IPhone pls don't mind the typos I have big fingersL
