M&P rebate

Cheques are a bit behind in processing as S&W just started sending them in late January. Mags have been shipping for a while now. We received our mags in early Dec after submitting in late Nov and cheques arrived in mid Feb for comparison sake.
 
I recieved mags last week for a January purchase. No sign of the rebate yet.

Strangely, no duty was owing, contrary to all the other reports I've heard.
 
I thought it was kinda screwed up that i had to pay a duty of 22$ on a free item,and then trying to pay the duty throught Federal Express was even more of a blast.
 
how long did it take to get the mags? I sent mine in about 2 weeks now, just want to know when i should be expecting

Usually Fedex will just clear the package without calling you first to see if you have your own broker, or if you want to clear it yourself, and then send you a bill a couple weeks later. I recommend not paying the bill. They still will ship packages to you if you dont pay, and if they give you any sass, tell em you had your own broker, and didnt ask them to clear the package.
 
S&W rebate in Canada

I guess the rebate offer to Canada must be new this year, I bought my M4P 40 last summer and was informed that the offer wasn't valid in Canada. I sent in the reciept and got a letter back saying they couldn't do it.:mad:

Purchased mine in December, sent the rebate ASAP, received the 2 mags last week, had to pay Fedex 22.15, no cheque yet.

Glad to hear that some are getting the $50

Don't worry your cheque will turn up, mine did, from what I can gather they are now running several weeks behind, if youv'e received your free mags then the cheque will turn up just be patient.
 
Got my mags in March .. cheque arrived this afternoon! I was convinced they would not send it...

Upon Conversion, it only came to $49 and change though ;)
 
I emailed S&W 2 weeks ago ( I bought in late Dec), Prompt reply said the mags would be here shortl;y and the check abit after that. Got the mags last week but they were for the Sigma. Contacted the company again and they said new proper ones were on the way and to keep the other ones..... so if anyone owns a Sigma contyact me.
