M&P sight mount

Yes. I have one. Will have to dig it out to check the make. Downside is that the optic is mounted quite high.

Get the gun milled for your specific optic it will be closer to the bore which is better and will prolong the life of the optic as it won't move around as much under recoil which is what eventually kills the optic on the pistol. Also you can still retain the irons on the gun for if/when your optic fails.

Hmmm, seems like a bit of a hassle. Gonna check the S&W web site to see what they offer.

Burris, Trijicon, Vortex all have their own dove tail mounts
sight mount does a pic rail mount for your dove tail

i would suggest getting a CORE vs milling an M&P to be honest. use a dove tail to try it out and see if you like a RDS, or just take the plunge and pick up a CORE off the EE. you'll likely lose less reselling the core than the mount itself.

I picked up a mount for my Vortex Razor that mounts in the factory SW dovetail the height added is minimal. was under 70 bucks a few months back
