I've found that they really don't need a "trigger job" as such. If you look at Burwell's instructions on taking the sear block out and simply polish, instead of file and cut, the trigger will respond very nicely. I even did this on my M&P45 (which have hideous triggers out of the box) and found the trigger to be much nicer afterwards. You'll see why as soon as you look at the contact surfaces - the factory has made no attempt what so ever to even clean the points of contact. I used 2 and 3000 grit sandpaper and Flitz metal polish to make them nice and shiney and it makes a huge difference. The 45 went from 8lbs to 5lbs and has a much cleaner break with a shorter reset that you can feel. It also lost that 'false reset' that they can have out of the box. They are at least as easy to work on as Glocks, if not easier. Check out mp-pistol.com for the trigger job instructions.
