Got about 600 through my .40 and its still awsome , no issues trigger is absolutely awsome and had the ability to pick it up and work it with very little training / range time .

No striker / extractor issues but have had a failure to go into battery because my dumb ass didnt seat the magazine properly . They can be a bit stiff if the slide is closed . so i just make sure to really slap that magazine home.

i have both a 9 and .40... couple thousand through the 9 and a 1000 or more through the .40 no issues unless you are limp wristed lol

You've actually jammed your M&P limp wristing it!? My friend tried limp wristing my M&P9 and it cycled fine. I've never tried, i don't feel comfortable doing that sort of thing, safety first! But to each their own.....

I've put about 4000 through my M&P9 and have had 2 striker failures. According to Smith & Wesson, the newer ones out there now should last. Guess there was a problem with the metallurgy or something with the originals.
