I bought myself an M&P9 a short while ago and so far I love it, except for one thing. The trigger is horrible in my opinion. The best way to describe the feel of it is "gritty". Can any other M&P owners verify that this is how it should feel for me, or did I get a sub par trigger?

Get some Apex tactical parts sear springs etc.Can be ordered from Dillon.Easy to replace check their videos on there web site.

They're pretty bad out of the box. There are 3 ways to deal with this. 1) put up with it for about a thousand rounds, and it'll get somewhat better. 2) take the gun apart and polish everything that rubs, as well as polishing the firing pin block. 3) get on to Dillon or Brownells and order an Apex Tactical hard sear and firing pin block. Of the above 1&2 work okay, 3 works superbly.
