M&p trigger

so, how hard is it to swap out??
is it a gunsmith job for those of us less mechanically inclined??

I thought it was just going to suck forever, now I have some hope....Thanks!!

Define "less mechanically inclined"...

IMO It's no harder than a 10-22. Except for punching out the pins. Just watch the Apex videos on YouTube more than once, even have them up on your computer when you disassemble it the first time. Nothing goes sproing except the plunger spring under the rear sight, which Apex is thoughful enough to provide a tool for...hmm, and tiny sear spring is tiny. Like, really small.

A gallon of water weighs 8.34 lbs=More fun with milk jugs!

In the news tonight... Police answer call to a man hanging milk jugs from a handgun. Neighbors reported witnessing...

Mine also came with the 6lb trigger.
A modified Burwell job on the FPB and trigger bar, then bunch of rounds downrange and now the trigger feels much more acceptable.
It's no 1911, but much better than when it started.

Did it get rid of that gritty feeling in the trigger?

Virtually all of it.
All I did was round off the edges of the firing pin block and polished the contact surfaces of the trigger bar, more aggressive work (like the full Burwell job) would have smoothed it out even more but I pretty happy with it now.

Had put thousands of rounds through my 9, it smoothed out a bit but was still crunchy . . . then I installed the Apex DCAEK and RAM . . . . lighter and really smooth now :)
The wife likes it so there's another kit on it's way from Brownells for her 9L.
A friend just tried mine and he too has ordered a kit for his 9, the comp version
Highly recommended!
