What upgrades have fellow CGN'ers done to their S&W M&P's? Any upgrades that didnt work/not worth it? Has anyone done the factory conversion barrel from a 40S&W/.357SIG to a 9mm?

So far all I've done is a custom stippling job to the my M&P40 frame which I have found to improve the grip 10 fold, and looks badass to boot. Was looking at some Apex products as well such as the RAM.

Pics???

Mine is a late 2012 (bought in October) M&P so I would think it's compatible with RAM kits. Sounds like you just need to buy the proper style for safety and mag disconnect versions.

As far as pics go for the stippling job I can try to figure out how to post some pics (any tips would be great). It was really easy for the most part. Just practice a bit on old gear then take the plunge, you'll be nervous but that's a good thing. I would HIGHLY recommend doing it. Looks awesome!!

Oh really?! Beauty to know that. I'll have to look into that for sure. Does the DCAEK have a the benifit of an improved reset?

I think I would have went with the Talon grips before stippling the gun just in case I wanted to sell it later. They ship to Canada now. But, to each his own.

Yeah I hear you, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But stippling was a major thing that drew me to the M&P. I love the look, love the grip. I have just done the grip. Not fully sold on the index/thumb stippling on the frame near the slide. Maybe one day I'll decide to do that. Extremely happy with the outcome! I'll do my best to post a picture...

I stipple mine -- I generally don't like the factory textures on any factory polymer guns.

On my non CORE guns I replaced the sights with Hack Ameriglo's

Agreed, It was my only complaint about the pistol. I felt it was to slippery and was hard to get a consistant grip. I think if more people saw and held the stippled frame, the more people would want it done. The stippling isnt to agressive as some might think.

color filled my M&P with green. Green front sight. Fiber optic. and apex competition kit on it. All I can say is before i Couldnt shoot this gun at all. Lucky to put in 10 shots into a sheet of paper at 15M . Now I can put them within 3 inches at 15M. Made a huge difference. heavy triggers throw me off bad :(

Grip tape
Beveled / polished the firing pin block.
Removed mag disconnect
Blacked out rear sight

Looking for a green fiber optic front sight ...anybody know where I can find one ??

Here are the Pics of the stippling job I did. This is my first time posting pics, so hopefully they work...

Let me know what you think.
