M&P with Deltapoint back from Mr. Gunsmith! PICS

If your g-smith charged you for milling you got screwed.

The delta points come with mounting hardware that replaces the rear sight.

It took me 5 min to instal mine........

This is what happens when you see pictures on the iPhone app

Did you ever think that he might have wanted it milled into the slide so it sits lower on the slide? I don't screw anyone and I believe my reputation speaks for itself.

Casey

I Don't know you, no offence, but the OP did not state that he wanted the Delta Point set further into the slide. If he had........ My response would not have been the same. I will edit my prevoious post if you like.

This is what I wanted and asked for. Casey did a great job, he is amazing at what he does.
I simply posted it here so people who are thinking for doing this can see how it came out. I am super happy about both the work that was done and how it shoots. I hummed and hawed about this for ages and most of the photos and info were from the states. I figured a thread here couldn't hurt. I had the dovetail mounts and didn't like how high it rides. This allows me to interchange the two guns and keep my head at roughly the same position.
Maybe take a look at other forums. This is an accepted way of installing a red dot and increasing in popularity. But then again notsorichguy you would know best.

Sorry for getting my nose in here, I`ll hold my comments from now on......

But, I have been shooting an M&P in some shape or form since 2008. I own 8 M&Ps. I actually own a Pro with a delta point. I have an M&P 9 with over 20,000 rounds through it...... Not to toot my own horn but I consider myself a bit of an expert when it comes to the current crop of M&P pistols....... I have posted these pics before but I will do so again. I have had this Delta Point on this PRO since Spring of 2012.....

Sorry for any feelings that may have been damaged.

This looks great also. But the OP's doesn't look that much lower. I think if I was going to mount a Deltapoint, I would go with the mount that goes onto the dovetail. Therefore, keeping the existing slide factory. Thanks for posting the pics Kieran and notsorichguy.

Sorry for any feelings that may have been damaged.
No worries. I didn't mean to disparage your knowledge or expertise.
I am quite happy with the money I paid and the work done. I committed to this project and am fine with the money and the permanent nature of it.
Casey does great work and is a very kind and reasonable gentleman. I can not recommend him enough.
I like the look of your pro. I did however want to get that sight lower then your setup. I played with the hight when I got the Delta and was not comfortable with how high it sits with the dovetail and riser. The plus side is you can go back to irons if you want. I have to switch guns.
