M&p15-22

prob not they had one come in recently that was designed to look like an M4 but had a completly different action and if i remember correctly is was declared restricted. but i could be wrong

CFC is still mulling over the classification of the .22 Colt AR, It is probably sitting on a table right next to the Norinco T97.

Doesnt it make you wish you lived in the states sometimes ??? I was down there last weekend , met up with some guys and started talking about guns and how you purchese them down there ... all he said was he had to prove he had residence down there them boom , bought em ... Just needed a license to Conceal carry....

I find myself wishing that on a regular basis...every time a cool new gun comes along, only to learn that the Gestapo have deemed it too inherently subversive for us untermenschen.:kickInTheNuts:

Actually, it makes me wish that:

a) the USA would import firearms\parts to private owners without paperwork that will never fly.
b) Canada would #### off with it's stupid black\green rifle laws (excuse my french)

I swear they must take a 8 year old girl into the "gun classification blding" and ask her "do any of these guns scare you" if she answers yes, it gets restricted or prohib....

i believe they are good to go.
moving target carries them.

Ummm that sure looks like a 556 AR to me... look at the size of the ejection port.

EDIT: I called the RCMP firearms hotline or whatever it's called, and the lady had never heard of it. So she put me through to a tech, with whom I left a message. I'll let you guys know as soon as he calls me back, as to whether or not it's non-R or R.

That looks like the chinese m-4 to me.

That said, the RCMP's loss on the variant issue before the Ontario High Court of Justice will likely aid the importation of these and other similar firearms that only look, cosmetically, like restricted or prohibited firearms.

looks like a 5.56 to me too. You can see the little extractor claw most rimfires have on the side of the bolt on the M&P 15-22. This one looks like a ful size bolt.

Probably not, I've seen an 11 year old girl that could field strip and function check an AR faster then some soldiers. Plus most kids I know aren't scared of guns; TV and movies saw to that.

lol yeah I know, just trying to be cynical.

If it's not full auto and doesn't use FMJ or armor piercing rounds who the hell cares what it looks like is my point.

Neither of those criteria should matter either.

As far as Im concerned, yes they do.

As AWESOME as they are, full auto weapons have no practical purpose other than killing people.

And Armor piercing rounds are the same, no purpose except to kill humans wearing armor.

opse my bad...but i sweared couple weeks ago, they have this colt m4 look alike. i phone the guy and he said its .22lr and would be arriving soon...

god knows now...

Buddy,
A gun is a gun is a gun......
If it shoots one bullet, it is a gun.
If it shoots many bullets, it is still a gun.
Guns are only classified as weapons if used as one.
Full auto's would serve a great purpose at the range, too bad we cant.
All guns were designed to kill. Period.
That doesnt mean that as a legal firearms owner i shouldnt be able to use any gun i see fit. If a guy wants to kill someone with a gun, it does not make a difference if the gun shoots one bullet or 30 at a time.
No laws are going to stop this person.

I agree to a certain point - but rifles that are fully auto dont serve any practical civi purpose. That's my point. I'd LOVE to own a m249 and take it to the range, but giving civi's a full auto belt fed machine gun isn't very smart.

A spoon can kill you.
