M&p40

This is a pointless thread. BUT. I just received my brand new M&P40 from frontier taxidermy yesterday. Great place to deal with, 11 business days from when I ordered it till I received it. For ordering it from Ontario I think that is quite reasonable. Plus a bonus next to the mail in rebate and free mags i got a half decent holster to.

The main reason I bought one was the fact that in the near future I will be switching to this as my sidearm at work (armed guard). I will miss my old model 64, but I've shot both the 9 & 40 m&p and am really liking this firearm (and the extra 12 rounds I will be able to carry) I just wish I could buy one of the old model 64s or 10s that we have. Damn 4 in barrels

So I received it just in time. I have my re-qualification shoot on Thursday for my ATC and plan to bring it with me and show some of my co-workers what is in store for us shortly.

Great choice of pistol, I think you'll see that a lot of Police agencies will migrate over the next few years, mostly for ergonomic reasons, but also for "safety" reasons. Although I wouldn't feel under equipped with a revolver, I think the M&P is a terrific choice. Both of the M&P's I've owned have been totally reliable and very shootable.

I also have an M/P .40 , two weeks old.
Took it to the range on Monday and the smile has JUST left my face.
Small, med, or large grip choice is awesome, slick looking and accurate as hell!

The only problem i've had has been my fault. I bought some .40 cal snap caps
and managed to get the slide stuck when a cap slid into the barrel and jammed the next one coming up. No harm done.

A great buy. I'm waiting for the rebate and two extra mags.

I just got my M&P 9mm from Frontier as well. Fantastic service. Ordered gun Wed, Marlin shipped it Thurs, in the PO following Mon and Reg Cert arrived that Fri
