M&P9 Gen 1 vs 2.0.. worth upgrading?

Exactly.

The new grip texture is fantastic and a huge step from from the original grip. Worth the upgrade for that and the other bits?? Maybe.

But for $200 cheaper then a glock, if you're looking for a new gun it's probably the best option for the money.

I got my apex kit from Wild West shooting center for my M&P 45 (non 2.0). I also watched multiple vids as the Apex wasn't clear.

I got mine from CTC.

Advice - if you need to watch Youtube videos to do the install, don't watch the Apex ones. They suck. There's lots of indie ones that are better and clearer.

My v1.0 was a late model and the trigger is just fine as is the barrel, it shoots great. The only M2.0 I would consider is the 5" version and keep both, LOL. I am sure S&W will come out with a non-thumb safety 5" Pro model, that maybe worth looking at.

I've hit a torso gong with my V1.0 at 300 Meters. 3-4/10 rounds hit, all out of the box using some crappy ammo, so I'm not exactly disappointed (although I'm going to say most of it was luck and practice) lol my only real complaint is the trigger pull is long as balls and isn't very smooth.
